Piccolo bar e bottega in centro paese, luogo di riferimento e di ritrovo. Punto neuralgico per capire il "cuore" di Gorra e dintorni. Gentilissimi!

My favorite place to stay. Fantastic local roasted coffee, super friendly people, best sandwich in region. There are many reasons, why we visit this lovely place every time we are in Ligure.

It almost doesn’t seem proper for me to “rate” this café in the small town of Gorra in the hills above the sea, because, after spending just a week having our coffee here each morning, my wife and I both ended up feeling like we were part of the community that revolves around this place. Of course the coffee and the pastries are perfect — this is Italy! But the warmth, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff (Grazie, Arianna, per tutto!) isn’t necessarily something you will encounter everywhere you go. Indeed, along with good times at the beach or hiking on the trails, some of the most pleasant memories we have of our visit to the area were made during our stops at Dal Canta as we came and went: un cappuccio in the morning, great regional craft beer — and I say great beer as someone who lives in Prague! — after a half-day hike, or negroni in the evening before going to dinner. Our time in Gorra was wonderful, but Dal Canta made it perfectly wonderful…
